Society of Physics Students

This club has been set up to provide networking and educational opportunities to all students, especially those majoring in and/or minoring in Physics. We are also affiliated with the global Society of Physics Students (SPS). Physics majors in this club also have a chance to become a part of the Sigma Pi Sigma Physics Honors Society.

We frequently have meetings discussing opportunities open to students pursuing the study of physics, including research and internships, as well as networking opportunities with alumni and faculty. There are trips to local private and national laboratories, and presentations of undergraduate research.

There is occasional recreational coordination with other science pre-professional student organizations.
